Bobolin Bunkers
Attraction description
The bunkers in Bobolin are fascinating remains from the Second World War, located along the coast between the villages of Bobolin and Darłówko. Most of these mysterious structures are located on the site of today's military unit, but some are open to the public.
By the road leading to the beach, you can see the concrete foundations of an artillery position with preserved gun mounting bolts. Just at the entrance to the beach are concrete bunkers that probably served as firing targets for testing large-calibre weapons. The stamped factory number and date of manufacture - 1939 - are preserved on one of them.
It is also worth mentioning that there was a secret testing ground nearby, where large-calibre guns such as the famous Dora cannon were tested. The trials of these cannons were personally observed by Adolf Hitler and his entourage.
For lovers of history and militaria, the bunkers in Bobolin are an unusual tourist attraction, allowing direct contact with history and uncovering the mysteries of the past.
