Fishing harbour in Dąbki

The Fisherman's Harbour in Dąbki is a unique place where fishing tradition is combined with the picturesque coastal landscape. Officially established in 1994, this marina is distinguished by its unique way of handling fishing boats. Unlike many other marinas, the boats in Dąbki are moored and launched directly from the beach using special winches.

On the beach you can see several boats marked with the signature ‘DBK’, belonging to local fishermen. Every day, usually around 8 a.m., the fishermen return from fishing and tourists have the unique opportunity to watch them at work and buy fresh fish straight from the net. Mostly flounder, turbot, codand sometimes salmon trout or belonare available.

The presence of a fishing harbour also influences the local gastronomy. In the numerous fryeries and restaurants in Dąbkione can enjoy the taste of freshly caught fish, which is quite an attraction for lovers of coastal cuisine.
